Its a tricky question though now. According to some rumors, the about to be released Mac OS X LION is said to include a browser only restart option called “Restart to Safari”. I think this is gonna make some effect on the Chromebooks,
As if the said rumor holds true then you have an option to either boot up your mac as a full Operating System or only browser.
