802.11ac & 802.11ad: Two new Standards for future WiFi or rather “WiGig”


Imagine accessing Wifi with speed like 7 Gbps, it would be a dream wont it!…  but in near future it can be true. And may we would be saying WiGig instead of WiFi. The 2 two new emerging standards are about to change the speeds of WiFi we use in our day to day life. 802.11ac is fast approaching and still in draft, but some companies like Buffalo has some devices with 1.3Gbps speeds already

WiGig (802.11ad) is said to be more interesting with an addition of 60GHz band along with the previous 2.4 and 5GHz, with data transfer rate till 7 Gbps.
